The State Trading Organisation (STO) Roadha Mart has been opened in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
The STO Roadha Mart was inaugurated at the Vinares Flat 9 building by Managing Director of STO Hussain Amr and Managing Director of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Ahmed Athif.
STO stated that residents in Hulhumale’ Phase II will be able to purchase their products at reasonable prices at the newly opened store, which provides wholesale and retail services. It also has special racks for individual businesses to sell their products and will have fresh onions, potatoes, and eggs for the month of Ramadan.
The population has been increasing in Hulhumale’ Phase II and residents have expressed concern over the difficulties in acquiring food and everyday items in the area. As such, the STO Roadha Mart was opened to solve this issue.
