The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) has announced the decision to conduct a technical forum for accountants and auditors.
CA Maldives revealed the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) Forum will be held from August 20-21, at the Maldives National University (MNU) Business School’s auditorium. CA Maldives stated the aim of the forum is to provide education and training for individuals working in the accounting profession in the Maldives as part of efforts to strengthen the profession in the country.
Sessions at the forum will be conducted by two members of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (MICPA) as well as local experts of the profession. The sessions will mainly focus on the latest updates of accounting and auditing standards, and practical applications of the standards.
CA Maldives revealed registration for the forum is open until August 11. Individuals interested in attending the forum are required to register through the designated portal of CA Maldives.
