Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) suspends the Secretary-General of the Supreme Court of the Maldives Dr. Hussain Faiz for an investigation.
DJA revealed Faiz has been suspended to investigate allegations of spying on judges using the CCTV cameras of the court and leaking unauthorised information to sources outside the court. DJA said Faiz will remain in suspension until further notice.
Meanwhile, the responsibilities of the secretary-general have been temporarily handed over to the Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court.
